Arpora is a small, relatively undeveloped village in the Northen section of Goa and lies just to the north of the tourist resorts of Candolim and Calangute and south of the famous Anjuna Beach.
There is a small selection of hotels in Arpora, just off the main road.
There are numerous places to eat out, from early morning breakfast to late night evening meals. These range from simple, local restaurants, to the more expensive and upmarket restaurants that cater for the tourist industry. One thing is certain, you will be very unlucky to experience a bad meal in the area.
Whilst shops in Arpora are basic and stock limited items, you will be able to find all the essential items to help you enjoy your holiday within walking distance of the resort
There is a taxi rank outside Blue Beach Resort, or take a bus to the busier resorts of Calangute and Candolim, where there is a greater choice of restaurants, bars and shops.
Blue Beach Resort is located just inland from the coast and the beach at Baga is around a 20 minute walk away.
The resort lies in close proximity to the famous Anjuna Beach and its Wednesday market and the Saturday night markets at Makays and Inigos.
